WHO WE ARE

ABOUT US

The West Virginia Collegiate Recovery Network (WVCRN) is an innovative partnership, offering peer recovery support services on eight higher education campuses. This project is supported by federal State Opioid Response funding, which originates from the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

The Network includes the following institutions: Ameritas College Huntington, Bluefield State University, Concord University, Marshall University, Mountwest Community & Technical College, Southern West Virginia Community & Technical College, West Virginia State University, and WVU Tech, working with the following community partners: Community Connections, Inc. and Seed Power, Inc.

The WVCRN is part of the The Alliance for the Economic Development of Southern West Virginia (AEDSWV) and the Center of Excellence for Recovery (COE), both housed within Marshall University Research Corporation. The AEDSWV is focused on fostering an environment for economic growth, while the COE aims to increase the well-being of West Virginians through behavioral health education, prevention, outreach, recovery, and applied research initiatives
